shannon and adam

jenn and i both agree that shannon and adam’s wedding was our favorite of the year. hence all the pics. classy, tasteful, elegant, and relaxed are just a few words that came to mind. if you had been the fly on the wall as we took pictures, you would have continually heard us saying to each other, “oh my gosh!, i love this…did you get a picture of this?!”
as we prepared to move the entire wedding indoors due to rain, we worried how shannon would deal, but it didn’t seem to phase her in the least. the excitement of spending the day with her girls (whom i ranked as the best bridesmaids ever) and getting to marry the love of her life was more of a priority than rain. thankfully, the rain stopped and the sun peeked thru just enough to have a garden wedding.

i had such a great time with jessica and michael on feburary 21, 2009. barefoot on st. pete beach, jessica was classically beautiful (if “classically” isn’t a word, it is now). the decor and atmosphere were elegant, but the crowd knew how to par-tay!

 

a valentine’s lake wedding…

february 14th was a gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding! kathleen and daniel held their wedding in their own backyard and a wonderful backyard it is! they said “i do” on the back porch of the house. the atmosphere was personal and quaint with a little beach bon-fire and drinks chilling in the canoe.

kathleen rode into the wedding ceremony on a pontoon boat from across the lake!

these two were hilarious! we had the best time at this wedding in january. the reception was at the kapok pavilion and olympia catering did a wonderful job with the cake and food!

what a day on december 26th! these two were great along with their huge bridal party! the decor was elegant yet contemporary as katie’s dress was vintage and the guys sported converse. the theme carried into the reception, at the palmetto club in fishhawk, with a polka dotted cake. in short…an awesome day!

november was a busy month in ’08 and it was a pleasure working with mabelissa and david. the davis island garden club hosted a great night for all the family and friends!

in the beginning of november ’08, rachel and justin tied the knot in lakeland at hollis gardens. although we fought the rain all day, i was thrilled with the results!

 

cynthia & michael…a halloween wedding

cynthia and michael said “i do” on october 31, 2008 at the lange farm in dade city. the atmosphere was inviting and elegant with touches of halloween festivities.

i know, i know… becky and jacob were married in october ’08 and i have been so busy since then, blogging has been on the bottom of the “to-do” list. it also doesnt help that i have a hatred to blogging. at least my clients will know by my lack of blogs that i put priority on their orders and other work. (hopefully) 🙂

my favorite part of this weekend was the fact that becky and jacob were willing to “take two” the day after the wedding for their pictures together. we simply had no time and day light during the wedding day. this mini session  turned out to be a laid back and fun afternoon with an undertone of “dress trashing.” yay for tires swings!!!
